Below are examples of good trailer design (as decided by teh internetz), in where the trialer sets the tone of the feature film but doesn't give much of the plot away.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Cloverfield (note this one doesn't even name the feature)
This trailer was so bad, the movie didn't even get made... :p
The same theory seems to be applied to other medeiums, book covers & club flyers for example. I'll take alook at them later.
But it seems that i'll have to take the main exhibit and just pick out the bits that really set the tone and entice the viewer.
